THANK YOU. I just turned 69 and I don’t recognize the face in the mirror looking back at me. I haven’t for 45 years😂😂. She’s not a size 8, she has a saggy neck and jowls, droopy eyelids, and random chin and lip hairs. I do recognize the hair because I quit coloring it when I hit my mid to late 40s. I was curious what color it actually was. I was carded at the bars all the way into my mid 30s, and then they stopped asking for my ID and started calling me “ma’am”. Now, I walk into the drugstore to buy gift cards and I get asked if somebody told me to buy them. Ummm, no…I’m buying dinner and massages for my kids for Christmas…why are you even asking me that??? (I didn’t know that was a scam thing, but I don’t trust any emails I don’t recognize, and don’t answer unknown calls or texts anyway) Getting old is not for the faint of heart. It’s quite the humbling experience!

I challenge women to calculate how much time they spend on trying to look good. Then, how much money they spend on it. THEN, how much time at work to make the amount of money they spend on beauty. After all is added up, the shock and horror of reality sets in.

The narcissists posting the videos, wherein they believe they look so young for their ages, don't understand that older people have learned what physical markers give them away. As you age, you naturally observe the signs of aging, and not just on yourself, but on everyone around you. The self-obsessed are seemingly not observing and making note.

I’m 65 I still couldn’t get served in a pub in my mid thirties I am only 5’3”and quite slightly built but I ALWAYS had to show my driving licence 😂 now I’m offered the pensioner discount and I still have 4 months to go until I retire 😂🤣it seemed to happen overnight but I don’t really care what anyone else thinks I’m fine with being me ,just enjoy being alive

Wow I've learnt a lot from this! I usually take tons of makeup & a lot of it isn't even necessarily friendly for hotter climates! If you could do a skin care admission of this I'd love it ❤😊 & yup Tom Ford is definitely not consistent. Haus labs is also my favourite concealer & the Givenchy powder.

I'm 53 , and hating how my fave is changing and the new fun of wrinkles, and sagging skin. My body is pretty okay, I'm in fair shape, and quite fit as I have a physical life. I don't really worry all the time, but you're right about everything you say ! I have spent a lot of time feeling like I simply don't matter as I age. I luckily have a partner who thinks I am gorgeous which helps, even though he does need glasses hahaha. If I was totally rich I guess I'd look better , just from decent clothes and hair etc. but the truth is that I wouldn't change my brain for anything and my spiritual development xxx

When you get to late 40s/50s you care less what people think of you .I think it's so sad how young women and men feel the need to have surgery so people will notice them 😢

I travel lighter than you ,although I have a lot of makeup at home. But to me it`s so relaxing when I don`t have to think about any options. On my last holiday I took the Nars orgasm quad with me and had fun making different combinations. The mini Chanel Bronzer will be in my summer holiday bag in August! Together with the Chanel water tint. I loved both last summer.

I've been traveling from the US to Europe and back every year, most years two or three times, for the last 25 years. The only thing EVER to shatter was the Pat McGrath under eye powder. Everything else - different eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, powders - it all survived with no problems. My problem is I overpack, because I always think - What if I'm in the mood for something else that I didn't pack? It would be easier if I stayed just for a week or two, but I usually stay for 4 to 6 weeks or more. I am really sad to say I have not managed to find a perfect set of minimal makeup items that are "bulletproof" for me, even after 25 years, but I keep trying LOL.

I absolutely love sheer coverage. I am fortunate and only need sheer coverage and was waiting and longing for a product like this, which does include some hydration. So there is for everyone something on the market 😊

Out of the many, many makeup reviewers I watch here on UA-cam you reign supreme, Charlotte! Not only are you lovely, funny and entertaining, I have agreed with your reviews on all of the makeup I have purchased. You are the only reviewer who mentioned the off putting taste of the LE lip baumes. Luckily, the taste seems to go away after a while, and I love them otherwise so will keep mine, but won't be buying more until they hopefully fix the oily taste. Keep on making your fabulous content!

I adore them! So much easier to use than the Rare Beauty or other liquid blushes, which terrify me. They are blurring yet slightly glowy at the same time. So youthful looking, Armani products never add texture to the skin. Have the pinks, will be picking up some peach shades! 🧡🤎

I think another damaging effect could be the younger generation uses a lot of filters in their photos and as time passes, they aren’t going to remember what they really looked like. As they get older, they will be comparing themselves to these unrealistic photos making them feel even worst about aging.

I travel with minimal makeup. My all time favorite product that's always and everywhere coming with me is one of the Hourglass Ambient lighting 6 pan palettes. I use it for cheeks, eyes, face. Lisa's skin tint will be a newbie this year. Mascara (any tubing mascara) and one lipstick. That's it. Never ever had a problem with broken powder products 🤷🏻‍♀️. 😘

Creams are definitely the way forward for holidays, due to the aforementioned smithereening potential of powders. I usually take one of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise pots and a Colour Chameleon crayon for lining. Although I bring mini travel brushes, I tend not to use them and do a super quick makeup with fingers. The lure of dinner is usually enough to significantly cut down the time of my usual makeup routine 😂xx

I take way tomuch makeup. I've cut back from 3 years ago but im traveling bow and realized I could still cut out more. I'm learning what my go to items are that multi-task the best so I anticipate nextctrip to be scaled down even more. And I've got to bring less brushes! This was great! I'm curious if you scale back on skincare, and if so, what do you opt to go without on a trip? 💜

Yes, the Tom fords are not consistent. I wear 7.2 and 7.7 in stick and liquid but in one of them 7.7 is lighter and in the other 7.2 is lighter.

I definitely don’t travel lighter than you. I cannot guess beforehand what I’m actually going to use so I take a lot. The things I end up using the most are my hourglass elephant pallet and my Dior concealer (2shades) that I end up using as foundation.

Hi Charlotte, I very much enjoyed watching this video, I pack medium amount of makeup, however I wrap my palette (s) in bubble wrap then a tea towel around that & I find my makeup is securely packed, Charlotte I love it when your sassy with us in your videos,it makes me smile. Love Katherine xoxo

I too have started to pack rather minimally for makeup. I love the Chanel waterfresh complexion touch because the packaging is light, the coverage adjustable and it works as a concealer too. That's my only base product. I travelled recently and took a few singles from Dior and Chanel and they were perfect one and done-s. I pretty much always travel with the CT beautyfying palette for blush/highlighter because the formula is so flawless and the powders are quite sturdy. I do go overboard with lipsticks though....lots of LE, for summer holidays definitely all the fun vibant colours. Mama's gotta look fresh!

Charlotte I loooove when you do these packing videos!! You seriously inspire me to pair down on what I pack. I took a trip in Spring and really paired down but now in Summer to a really hot climate I’m going to really try and pack ultra minimally with this video as a guide! The Givenchy powder is seriously a lifesaver in hot weather! I’m going to try and take only shadow sticks and avoid powder shadows…ok maybe just Hourglass reflect bc that’s kinda not pressed anyway haha. 💖💕 I love to take the CT cream bronzer, Victoria Beckham/Bobbi Brown eyeshadow sticks, and the Givenchy concealer and Danessa Myricks skin tint bc they’re sheer and light and last well in heat. Omg and the CT spray is a non negotiable 🎉
